Sustainability, Students & Ideas
We are an independent student association (Verein) supporting discussions & raising awareness about sustainability in Zurich.
We are made up of 5 major universities: UZH, ETH, PHZH, ZHAW and ZHdK. All our events are free & meant for students.
Our Main Event: The Sustainability Week
This is an entire week of events by students. It is also called NHWZ, short for Nachhaltigkeitswoche Zürich.
The next Sustainability Week is from 13 - 17 April 2026.
In 2025, we funded & supported 61 student events like these: bike cinema, tea history discussion, upcycling workshops and food save lunches. You can organise one too and we support you!
Our Year-Round Events
